I will be giving some lectures at Ecole Polytechnique for the course of Probability and Statistics taught by Yoan Tardy starting at the first semester of the academic year 2025-2026.

• Session of November 18, 2025 : We review the notions of convergence of random variables i.e, we cover the $L^p$ convergence, the convergence in probability and the almost sure convergence and we discuss the links between them.
